DAVID EDWARD BRUSCHI
I am David Edward Bruschi and I am a Senior Scientist and Group Leader of the Mathematical Methods group at the Institute for Quantum Computing Analytics (PGI-12), Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany). I am broadly interested in mathematical physics in general although, more concretely, my research interests lie at the intersection of general relativity, quantum field theory, quantum information, quantum thermodynamics, and quantum optics. Furthermore, I also have an interest in space based quantum technologies and quantum technologies in general.

MATHEMATICAL METHODS GROUP AT PGI-12The Mathematical Physics group at PGI-12 studies a variety of topics employing analytical methods and tools. We approach the problems of interest borrowing from any mathematical theory and we apply relevant higher-level understanding to simple yet informative mathematical models that have potential for applicability ina wide range of concrete physical scenarios. The models considered are usually simple enough to be treated without the need for numerical tools and we aim at obtaining results in terms of mathematical equations, techniques or theorems.
