DAVID EDWARD BRUSCHI
I am David Edward Bruschi. I am a Senior Scientist at the Institute for Quantum Computing Analytics (PGI-12) at Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany). I previously worked at the Universität des Saarlandes (Germany), at CEITEC of the Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), at the University of Vienna and IQOQI Vienna (Austria), at the University of York (UK), at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), and at the University of Leeds (UK). Finally, I also worked as a Junior Editor at the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO) in Germany.
I hold a PhD in Mathematics obtained under supervision of Dr. Jorma Louko at the School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Nottingham UK. My education was completed at the Università degli Studi di Bologna (Italy) where I graduated in Physics summa cum Laude.
I have been a scientist since the end of 2008, collaborating with colleagues in Europe and internationally. My efforts have been directed so far at topics at the overlap of relativity, quantum information, quantum thermodynamics, quantum mechanics and space based quantum technologies. During my PhD, I was particularly active in the field of Relativistic Quantum Information. More information about me and my path in science can be found in this website.

What is a man,
That divine reflection o’ the above all above
Which cometh from the utterance of one Word
And cast is thus to suffer bent for his soul,
Yet beloved, into the abysmal pit below.
Not crushed is he, by the weight o’ his shackles
Nor unfathomable mysteries doth find him in despair,
Nor doth he crawl as the beast that is slain
The life seeking in vain.
Behold. This is a man,
Who threads his path as the heavens crumble and fall,
And thus, marvelling upon the unknown fates
And unforeseen events,
Una foglia cade.
